At Cat Mama's Sanctuary, it is our mission to provide homeless street cats with a loving place to call home, while working with local vets practices, rescue groups, and the good-hearted cat loving volunteers to trap, neuter, return and feed the homeless street cats in our communities.
We are raising funds and promoting initiatives to support the community cats that still live on the streets and need our help the most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s cat population. Cat Mama's Sanctuary founder, Summer Snow, has had a love for cats since birth. All she ever wanted was cats, but her mother always said no. She dreamed of having a cat sanctuary and nothing makes her feel more "on purpose" than being able to connect with and care for the amazing cats at her sanctuary.
Caring for this many cats is a big responsibility, but Summer felt called to do more. There are an estimated 250,000 homeless cats in Phoenix alone, and it takes a community to tackle the overpopulation problem, not just one person. So she partnered with local vet practices, rescue groups and cat lovers and volunteers in her community that are committed to spaying, neutering, feeding and adopting out as many homeless cats as possible. It's a big job, but someone's gotta do it, and if we all work together, our impact is so much greater
