We’re a small cat sanctuary on a big mission — and we need a little help from the highway heroes who know the road better than anyone.

We’re Cat Mama’s Sanctuary — a nonprofit that gives lifelong care to homeless, feral, and abandoned cats who’ve been failed by the system. But right now, we’re the ones who need saving.

After relocating the sanctuary from Arizona to West Virginia last year to be closer to family, it’s become painfully clear this isn’t the right environment for our cats. We’ve faced devastating losses, stress and depression among the cats, and recently discovered mold in our home that may be impacting their health. These are desert cats at heart — and they need to go home.

Why We’re Reaching Out to You

Truckers know what it means to go the distance. To show up when no one else will. To carry precious cargo across thousands of miles — not because it’s easy, but because it matters.

You’ve driven through every kind of weather, terrain, and challenge to make it to the next stop. That’s what we’re doing too — only instead of cargo, we’ve got 50 lives depending on us. They’ve been through storms, streets, and suffering. Now they need safe passage — back to the place they once thrived.

We’ve found the perfect property: half an acre of sunshine, space, and serenity in Arizona where our cats once thrived. But moving a sanctuary with 50+ cats is no small haul.

Down payment on the new property
RV rental and fuel for cross-country transport
Crates, carriers, and moving truck costs
Outdoor cat fencing and trailers for safe shelter
Enrichment spaces like play structures and shaded catios
