Meet Lotus, a brave and resilient kitty who recently endured a traumatic accident. She was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car and needed urgent medical attention. Thankfully, the person who found her contacted Cat Mama's Sanctuary, and we were able to get her into our vet ASAP.
Lotus's injuries were severe, including a dislocated hip and a dislocated pubic symphysis. We've provided her with the necessary medical care, including X-rays and surgery, to give her a second chance at life.
We're excited to share that Lotus is on her way to recovery, but she still has a long road ahead. For the next six weeks, she'll be on strict bed rest at Cat Mama's Sanctuary, receiving the love and care she deserves.
Our mission at Cat Mama's Sanctuary is to provide a safe haven for cats like Lotus and to ensure they receive the medical attention they need. However, these lifesaving efforts come at a cost, and we need your help to cover the $1,600 in medical expenses incurred during Lotus's treatment.
