Our Mission
At Cat Mama’s Sanctuary, we honor each cat as a unique spirit deserving of peace, healing, and love. We provide lifelong refuge for those left behind—offering comfort, enrichment, and the chance to feel safe, perhaps for the first time. We believe in the sacred nature of all life and in the quiet grace that comes from loving the forgotten. Our work is an act of devotion—to compassion, to gentleness, to the belief that every soul has a place where it can rest, heal, and begin again.

“I’ve known since I was five years old—this is what I was put here to do.”- Summer Snow, Founder
At Cat Mama’s Sanctuary, we believe no cat is too broken, too wild, or too far gone for love. Our sanctuary was born from a deep inner calling to be a refuge for homeless cats that have no where to call home.
This isn’t just rescue—it’s sacred work. A mission of restoration, guided by something greater than us. Every soul matters here. Every cat is a divine life, worthy of healing, dignity, and joy.

Each of these cats came to us from the streets—homeless, sick, scared, or simply forgotten. At Cat Mama’s Sanctuary, they’ve been given a second chance at life. Your support helps us provide the care they need as they take their first steps toward trust, health, and happiness. Get Involved -->

Hadi came wondering up to to the property on a very rainy day in December, no more than 6 weeks old, all alone, trying to find shelter from the storm. Thankfully we were in the right place at the right time to see this little guy looking for help. We named him Hadi after one of the cats we lost to a vet mistake shortly after relocating our sanctuary to West Virginia from Arizona. We like to think baby Hadi is our old Hadi in a new body, back to continue his journey at Cat Mama's Sanctuary. He's been such a delight and is so full of life and playfulness, we are so happy we were able to save him from a life on the streets.

MIA & MARY
Meet Mia and Mary, two mama cats that were homeless but being cared for by an amazing couple who wanted a better life for them and their babies than living on the streets. Mia had babies one week before our rescue, and Mary is currently pregnant and will be giving birth soon (photos to come). Mia and her babies are doing so well, from being little beans with their eyes closed to now 4 weeks old and starting to get around and explore life. Both Mia and Mary have been amazing during the transition and they're opening up and beginning to trust more. Once their babies are weaned we will be getting them both spayed so they can live their best lives without the worry of having more babies.
Below are a few urgent medical cases in need of support.
From dental surgeries to diagnostics and ongoing care, these treatments are vital to our residents’ health and comfort. As a small sanctuary without regular funding, we rely on kind-hearted supporters to help us meet these unexpected expenses. Every donation—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference in the life of a cat who has nowhere else to turn.

You Are Part of This Mission
This sanctuary isn’t just mine—it belongs to everyone who believes in second chances, soul-led care, and the quiet, sacred work of loving the most vulnerable. Every donation, every prayer, every share of our story is a thread in the fabric of something bigger than any one of us.
You’re not just supporting a cat sanctuary—you’re helping create a place where healing is holy, love is intentional, and no life is too small to matter. Together, we’re rewriting the story of what rescue can be—and showing the world what it looks like when compassion leads the way.
